“I am the Chair of the Governing Body and I have been a governor for over 15 years, joining the governing body when my children attended the school. A children’s nurse by profession, working at Derriford Hospital, I feel that I am able to use this insight within my role as SEN Governor. The job also allows me to be able to support a great many of school events and activities, I may be frequently found at the carol service and summer activity week.”

I have worked at Chaddlewood for 23 years and during this time have worked in years 2 and 3. I was Deputy Headteacher for 7 years and Assistant Headteacher before that. I am in my 4th year as Headteacher and as you can see, love teaching and working at Chaddlewood. It is a privilege to support the families in this community.

“With two daughters at Chaddlewood I understand that it plays a big part in the community.
With a Project Management role at the University of Plymouth and working in the Education sector since 2001, I have extensive knowledge of financial planning and forecasting, Ofsted, data analysis, risk assessment, project management, funding models and regulations.
I have a Degree in Business and Finance, PRINCE 2 project management, L4 Management and Award in Education qualifications.
I am in the playground several times a week on the school run, and would be more than happy to listen to any parent views on the school, feeding into the Governing body.

My name is Ian Stace. I am a Warrant Officer Weapons Engineer in the Royal Navy Submarines Service and have served for 39 years. I have been based in Plymouth since 1985 and have been married to Isabel, a Child Protection Officer at Marine Academy Plymouth for 37 years. We have two married sons and five grandchildren.
As an Engineering manager I have extensive knowledge of the planning and project management of maintenance and defect rectification on a diverse range of Weapons Engineering equipment on Submarines. I am additionally responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental protection both on-board the Submarine and at our associated buildings. I previously worked at the Royal Navy Submarine School at HMS Raleigh instructing management at all levels and I hope my Engineering and Health & Safety experience can be of benefit to the school.
I have an HNC in both electrical and mechanical engineering, A NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and NEBOSH National Certificates in both Fire Safety & Risk Management and Construction Health & Safety
