Welcome to Chaddlewood Primary School

Chaddlewood is a two-form entry primary school set within extensive, inspiring grounds in Plympton, on the outskirts of Plymouth. Our setting is something we are proud of and use every day to enrich children’s learning. We are fortunate to be surrounded by a Forest School and nature area, large playing and athletics fields, and exciting outdoor play equipment.

At the heart of our school is our mission to create an environment where every child feels included, valued and able to thrive. We are a happy, friendly and welcoming community, and we pride ourselves on the strong relationships between children, staff and families. We believe children learn best when they feel a sense of belonging and are supported and cared for. We work closely with parents and carers to make this a reality, celebrating success in all its forms and taking pride in children’s achievements and progress, both inside and outside of school.

Our aim is to develop confident, curious children who are secure in their foundational knowledge and who enjoy a broad, creative curriculum. Through our inclusive approach, we support every child on their learning journey, whatever their starting point. Above all, we focus on developing the whole child - equipping them with the skills, values and confidence they need for the future.
